WHO NEEDS A DEPARTMENT STORE........

So I decided to do some minor shopping over the weekend and I discovered that London has some rather cool boutiques!! And even better I found each item for under £50 !!! Now that's my kind of shopping!!!!
Here are just a few things I picked up from a cool spot Max C London.....

Love, Love, Loved this little dress!! Perfect beige and blue stripes shown here paired with this great blue belt I snagged on the way out. This fun girly dress makes me feel flirty and cute, cool slouchy pockets and a silky frill detail on the neckline adds the perfect touch to a jersey knit dress!

Here is the dress with a cool faux leather biker jacket for a little funk

This other little number is the perfect check me out dress. Once again that mix of rocker meets lady.

Simple A line with studded detail neckline but finished with a femine soft silky feel and a splash of pink and grey. I could not resist buying a pair of bold coloured tights (not pictured) to rock with my  dress and sexy shoe boot...

.....And just because I could not resist I grabbed this rocking bag. Aside from its slamming details you can wear this bag on the shoulder or across the body. Anything cute and multifunctional will grab my attention! I have a few outfits that would go well with this bag, this could easily become my go to night out bag.....YAH!!!

Lastly, on my way out, in the corner of my eyes I saw a cute little cardigan that I just had to have.....hey it was all alone and calling my name, why not?

Of course it was the bow that caught my attention. Once again a classic black cardigan with a spin will pair well with skinny jeans and a light blouse, for example as seen here paired with this sheer polka dot number. That topped off my shopping bag and put a smile on my face as I leave well pleased with my purchse. Not only did I manage to pick up some "so my style" pieces but I managed not to put a hole in my budget. Thank you Max C London, I do not think I will walk into a major retailer anytime soon london boutiques have captured my heart. I wonder what other little shop will stumble into next.
Keep an eye out for my shopping adventure!!!

Much Love
Kay

WHAT THE...........LEECHE??!!!!

In pursuit of youthful glow? Why not let a leeche suck you!

That's right Leeche Therapy may become the new wave, move over botox, snip and tuck it's time to get sucked.
Earlier forms of Leeche Therapy can be traced as far back as 2,500 years ago. Recorded as used by Greeks, in India and Egypt for Bloodletting (or blood-letting) is the withdrawal of often considerable quantities of blood from a patient to cure or prevent illness and disease (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloodletting). . Fast forward to today and A lister Demi Moore as admitted to using leeches to aide in detoxifying her blood which should result energy and a youthful appearance, hmmm I guess when your hubby is loved by teenie boppers going to all lengths is an understatement. Leech therapy has been used for treatment of varicose veins, plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Well if you are interested here is an an outline.
  1. Find a qualified clinic.
  2. Leeches like a smooth body, so shave but waxing is prefered, picky suckers aren't they.
  3. Soak of Turpentine (look it up), there is some tingling which eventually stops.
  4. Bottoms up time for some "highly trained medical leeches" (no really they are trained) to feast until they swell then fall off. Now you are well on your way to a new you (I suppose).
Pain level is said to be about as much as mosquito bites. The saliva has pain killers and also keeps the blood from clotting. Enzymes are released to detoxify the blood.

Hands up if you are ready to try this out. Personally, I am still tryimg to get my head around fish pedicures so I pass.

Would you?
