6. “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”- Before Sex and the City there was Audrey Hepburn in this classic, she gave new meaning to “the little black dress”. If not for the story watch it for the fashion.
7. Diamonds – are truly a girl’s best friend. Over the top or understated a woman can always turn to her diamonds as the perfect accessory.

Hitting the Reset Button
Every once in a while it's nice to "hit the refresh button". So here I am in this mode.
I am expecting a little bundle of joy soon..YAHHH and I thought what better time to re-evaluate where I am, what I am up to and hoping to take my life.
Needless to say I have decided baby steps are OK at the moment. The bigger things will come once my energy level is back to normal. These days I can't stand, keep my eyes open or think straight for more than an hour.
Quest 1. Eradicate the acrylic nightmare. For years I have worn acrylics and could not see it any other way. The fear of what would be under the acrylics have held me back from getting rid of them. Well lo and behold this weekend I walked in the nail salon and said "soak off and manicure, please?"
After much research I went in armed with O.P.I Nail Envy maximum strength formula for sensitive and peeling nails. I must say this cost me a pretty penny around £18 but hey if your'e going to do it invest and do it right. So fingers crossed I will be sporting healthy natural nails very soon.
End result of the mani. Not bad huh?!
Quest 2. Return to the burn. I have been sporting some "roots" for a few months. Between finding it difficult to find a new hair genius and not having the time to troop all over town I have not put a relaxer in my hair. Now months and inches of new growth later I am at the point of almost no return. To live natural and burn free or take the easy way out? What do you think?
Quest 3. Maintaining a Healthy Glow. I have somehow managed over the years to maintain healthy skin but it seem with my move to the UK my skin lost its grip and freaked out on me. My eczema made a horrible appearance I suffered from dry patches to just dull skin all together.
I tried more than a few products and while some seemed to do the job my skin ultimately did not progress instead it merely balanced out and eventually returned to a state of horror. How happy was I when I wondered into a beauty supply store by my home and way in the back on the last shelf was sitting some Nubian soap products along side oils from every living branch. I quickly snatched up a Nubian Olive Oil Soap and what appeared to be natural Aloe Vera Oil went home and immediately indulged in a regimen. A few weeks later I must say I have a bin of skin products from pharmacy brand to name brand just simply sitting there untouched because my skin has peeled back the layers and produced an even healthy glow that I once loved!!! Woohoo
MAC free and loving me!!! Muah
As for further quest, stay tuned my adventure has only just began. Until then....
Ciao!

Alek Wek Rocked the Cover
34 year old hotness, uber-model and activist Alek Wek donned the cover of the September 14 issue of Stylist magazine and turned it out.
Me being an avid reader of Stylist was peeved I missed the usual Wednesday free issues. Nevertheless I was delighted to snag one on the tube but was even more over the moon when the bright yellow cover popped out at me. Here was Alek looking tall, perfectly chocolate glazed portraying as the cover stated "Fashion is Power". Please enjoy....

Do other models inspire you?
Christy Turlington. She’s beautiful, she’s a mother, a wife, a businesswoman; she’s giving back to society. She’s like my sister away from home and I think that’s how women should be. We should embrace each other, we should inspire each other and we should empower each other.
